Yesterday some of our family got together to celebrate the marriage between Ryan & Moon who flew all the way from to Japan to share this special day with us. It felt just like old times to be surrounded by my cousins, aunts, grandmom and siblings. We definitely weren’t able to get us all together because there’s TONS of us all living in different parts of the world and working hard everyday but it’s always nice to see who we can for different occasions.
Ryan & Moon had their ceremony in our Grandmom, Carol Dillon’s, front yard where my mom and Lorri set up a beautiful white aisle and gorgeous white arch that Bonnie Williams with Hatteras Wedding Ministries had the honor of marrying them underneath. It was simple and beautiful. Ryan’s mom, also Carol Dillon, and Bob made a huge feast for all of us and made the most amazing 4 layer Super Hero Cake that was not only the most awesome cake I’ve ever seen but definitely the best wedding cake we’ve ever tasted. Carol also decorated the house in many different super hero decorations and pictures from Ryan, Scott, Jeff and Tory when they were little. I’ll always cherish these special moments spent with family. I wish I would have gotten more photographs of everyone that was able to attend but it’s hard to be in the moment and talk and hug with the family and be behind the camera at the same time. Next time we have a family event, I will have another photographer with me as well so I can have both of best worlds 🙂
Ryan & Moon, we wish you both the best and wish you had more time to spend with us but we know you need to get back to Japan too 🙂 Hopefully we will see y’all in your parts of the world next time!
